Trinity

Located just over the southern border of Pasco County, Trinity is a fast growing part of the greater Tampa Bay area. Don’t let the size of this community fool you, this census designated place of 11,000 residents is more than what meets the eye. With new bustling shopping areas and big future plans, Trinity is a locale with a lot to offer.

Commuters to Tampa, Clearwater, and St Pete find themselves at home in Trinity, an upscale alternative to the downtown areas. Despite being within reach of the largest population centers in the Tampa Bay area, Trinity retains the small community feeling you just might be searching for.

Trinity was named after Trinity Bible College, a 4-year Christian college located in the area. It was founded in the late 1980s and has grown substantially since then. Communities and subdivisions within Trinity include Champions Club, Trinity Oaks, Thousand Oaks, Wyndtree, Chelsea Place, Natures Hideaway, Foxwood, Trinity West and East, Heritage Springs, and The Villages of Trinity Lakes. Most are neighborhoods of single-family homes, but the area also boasts condos, townhomes, and apartment options. Some of these locales include more upscale amenities; the Fox Hollow Golf Course and the Heritage Springs Country Club are features of the community.

Along with more new homes are being built in and around Trinity, plans are currently in motion to turn the area around Mitchell Ranch, Trinity’s largest shopping center, into a mixed-use area called “The District”. This area will be a designed “safe ease of use” for cyclists and pedestrians alike. According to Trinity’s official website, “The complex will be structured like a town, with a main street, central square, parkland, multi-use trail, elevated parking deck and pedestrian access; a bus stop and accommodations for bikes are also envisioned.”

In addition, Trinity is home to sports leagues, youth groups, and great schools. J.W. Mitchell High School is one of the best public schools in the county. Athenian Academy is a popular charter school option for children with an interest in technology and the arts. The new James P Gills YMCA, was recently built in Trinity and offers a wide range of recreation options, including two swimming pools.

Living in Trinity, you can rest assured knowing there are several trusted hospitals and medical centers right around the corner. HCA Florida Trinity Hospital, BayCare Trinity, and Trinity Family Medical Center are all located within a mile of each other near the area’s major road intersection (State Rd 54 and Little Rd).

Mitchell Ranch Plaza is the convenient location of tons of great businesses, from well-known shopping staples like Publix, Target, and PetSmart to local businesses and restaurants. One of these local restaurants, Christo’s, is a Greek deli, serving both notorious favorites like eggs, pancakes, and burgers as well as delights from Greece like souvlaki, gyros, and spinach pie. Another, not-so-local, favorite is Blaze Pizza, where you can have a tasty custom pizza topped and baked to your liking.

At Mitchell Ranch, you can go grocery shopping, get a bite to eat, go to the dentist, send a package, visit your favorite bank (Mitchell Ranch Plaza has 5 of them), get a mani-pedi, get a haircut, purchase supplies for your pets, buy a new outfit, visit a tanning salon, shop for a new mattress, grab a cup of coffee, and MORE…..all without ever leaving the parking lot!

Trinity is a popular location for professionals with families who love having easy access to the city but might not be as keen on living there full-time. This safe, clean, and upscale community just might be your new home!
